I still own my old 64 and still use it. The games never get old. But why don’t you just use a Emulator? Have all the games in there with no memory card necessary?? You can make games higher quality by editing settings.

I say that because most other Nintendo fans are voting that N64 is coming to Nintendo Switch Online after Mar. 31, 2021. So you should vote too whether it's one of those two ideas.

Super Smash Bros All Stars should be a Nintendo Switch All Star compilation game (well, one of the compilations). And it should have the first three games in the Super Smash Bros series (Super Smash Bros, Super Smash Bros MELEE, and Super Smash Bros BRAWL). So if you want to still get Super Smash Bros N64, buy that compilation game. Nintendo is treating N64, Gamecube, and Wii by Nintendo Switch All Star compilation games after Mar. 31, 2021, not Nintendo Switch Online.

But emulation can provide better resolution as well as better frame rate and the reasons that were provided only apply to lower-end PCs. On top of that emulation is perfectly legal as proven in the case of Sony v. Connectix (however make sure to acquire ROMs legally).

I started collecting games for the N64 but gave up when the games I wanted were to expensive. So I bought an Everdrive X7 and now have the full library, along with the Disc Drive games. It's fantastic.

I have an N64 and it's sad those good days are gone 😞 but it's something that I'll never forget. Still love playing my games on the N64, rareware was one of the best things Nintendo ever had on the N64 loved playing banjo kazooie/Tooie conkers bad fur day Diddy kong racing and all the other games rareware made for that system. It truly broke my heart💔 when rareware left Nintendo would have been so cool to play those games on the go with the Nintendo switch.

I'm currently eyeing a used N64 at a local retro games shop here in SC. It's about $100.00. I've already purchased a copy of Nightmare Creatures to play and copies of Golden Eye and others will follow in time. It will be a part of my Retro Set-Up that includes an Atari 2600 Vader Edition, my original Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Dreamcast, and Nintendo Wii. I never owned an N64 when they came out, but I played them a bit, along with the GameCube, at friend's houses. I'm looking forward to adding it to the collection.

I started collecting N64 last year. I started with the Pikachu edition one!! Got it for a good price with a game :) and I do have a solid stack of great games as well! I have a ps5 but I always go back to my N64. Paper mario is a hidden gem for me haha

Your point about emulation being "illegal" is technically incorrect, although practically correct. Emulators are not illegal, and you're making the stretch of the idea that the only method of creating emulation is pirating games. Dumping games in a legal matter is totally possible, and it's up to the gamers to source ROMs in a legal matter (and not pirate). Most people will pirate games, correct, but that does not mean emulation is illegal. If emulation was illegal, it wouldn't be as prevalent online as it is today.

Nintendo 64 was so dope. It's the last Nintendo console I got. I was in my early teens when the GameCube came out and that purple box looked childish to me. Been rocking with Playstation ever since.
