Negative thier are sevwral things that sony didnt incorporate thst need hardware done to leverage the chipset that xbox did do.. a controller can came out that takes advantage of similar tech to the ps5s for the xbox.. dont get me wrong sony is damn good and if i coukd id get both but when it comes to hardware and power xbox is king and has been after the one x.. sony is better at VR and a new controller concept that saidly wont get used by most developers as its just not worth doing if everyone doesnt have it.. bit lets be honest nintendo has the most inventive controller king with the wii and now switch set ups being the the best i mean who else has put a camera in the controller and can still get that much bettery life out of it...

Division 2 ps5 is buggy . Every single tech analysis confirmed it. There is no way a next gen console can lack features of the same game running on last gen . That isn't a "win" for xbox like the fanboys are saying . If anything , every single game runs and looks better for the most part on ps5 . Sony aren't expanding anytime . Releasing select exclusives after few years isn't the same as msft . And they are doing so to force pc players to buy their next gen console in order to play the sequels for the most part . They said it they aim to raise interest for their console ecosystem

@TarunTechEnvironment forst haptic feedback is currently in a few games and cN it be added to all sure it could but will it we dont know.. and could mircoafot not develop tbier own version amd add it later sure can.. as far as how xbox is tryinf to be a pc level its because of the 2 systems the s and x. Haptic feedback will enhance gaming experience for sure! and I have tried gamepass but I'm not impressed ,there are so many games but those are just worthless or not good games! @Markel Andrews yea ill agree its all preferences. My ps3 controllers battery didnt have a long life span say 3 years before it wouldnt hold a charge. Maybe i got a defective one i dunno. But for me and being all inclusive to everyone of all abilities the AA system is a better deal and hell on the AA system i would get will over 4-6 hours of gaming thats another issue with the ps4 and having the light and all the extra bells and whistles you kill the battery life va the xbox controller more simple and has better life span over all..

@jason horn Even PlayStation have a rechargeable battery pack. My playstation controller never had a charging issue and can last 4-6 hours. I had that controller for 6 years. Even my ps3 controller works like a charm. Having batteries issues is rarely a problem. However, it can happen, but it's a simple fix. If you don't want rechargeable batteries, then I recommend using third party controllers. I wouldn't say rechargeable batteries are useless. Recharging your device without spending a dime is pretty useful. I guess it's all about preferences🤷

@Markel Andrews its not the point any amd all batteries have a limited rechargeable life span then if you recharge them incorrectly the life span of a full charge goes from say 2 days to 1 day to none. (Granted this cam take years) The controller its self could be 100% working minus a battery issue now you have to have it plugged it making it a wired controller or find a reseller of the batteries you require. Cheapest i could find that is somewhat a reliable source of amazon is 16 USD for the PS4. Then add in shipping as its not a batter you can easily find them in walmart your up to approximately 20 USD. almost half the price of a new controller. Then if the controller has a special screw yoi need a new tool but lets not add that cost.. you still have people who are younger playing games like my daughter whos 9 or son who is 13 they dont understand how to cjange out that battery or if they do they could damage the new dual sense controller if theu dont know what they are doing. Or lose parts.. the simple heres a rechargeable battery pack for 30 USD that has a charger and two batteries for 2 controllers if you wish is a better more all inclusive design for everyone.

@jason horn You don't have to worry about tearing up the controllers because of the simple fact that the battery would rarely have any issues. The controllers batteries are firmly in place and won't get loose. Also, You can get a third party controller so you don't have the rechargeable battery. Not to mention you don't have to be tech savvy to replace the batteries. It's so simple; not hard to unscrew a device and replace a battery. (literally takes less than five minutes)

C not everyone is tech savy enough to replace them but everyone can replace a set of rechargeable battiers or battery pack..

@McNugget 94 while controller drift is indeed an issue, it only takes one controller with drift to have the ps5 controller be the headline of every article. now im not saying that only 1 controller has drift, but the number is much lower than the media makes it out to be. Sony already is fixing the issue, and will refund anyone with a drifted controller. unlike microsoft, which im willing to bet will replace none of the xbox series controllers
